The LAist did a three part series on “Dining out in San Francisco,” which featured restaurant critiques of several hot spots, including Millennium, Tommy’s Joynt, and Out the Door. The hot spot we’re mostly interested in is our very own “The Educated Palate,” the CCSF downtown campus restaurant run by culinary students from our department. WOW! Pretty cool. City College CAHS alum, Sean O’Brien, appears in Food & Wine’s July cover story, “Best new chefs: Is there one in your city?” O’Brien attended City College’s culinary program about ten years ago and has since worked in The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton, Gary Danko, and currently at myth.
