CCSF is hosting a number of activities in honor of
Earth Day on April 22, 2008.
There will be multiple activity venues across the Ocean Campus:
Wellness Plaza, Ram, Cafeteria, across from Lunch Box, in front of
Batmale, Visual Arts Plaza. For example, if students begin at the PUC
booth in Wellness Plaza, they will be given a “Passport” to the event.
At each venue, someone will be there to stamp the Passport, once a
student has spoken to at least one tabler. If a student returns the
Passport to PUC with 5 stamps, they get a free water bottle (first come,
first serve).
There will be a “Sustainability Across the Curriculum” table where
students can obtain and fill out quizzes to enter a raffle for prizes.
There is a “film festival” in R305 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m., 1 p.m.-3:30
p.m.
There will also be a number of special guest speakers at the Southeast
Campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mr. Kevin Danaher, Executive Director of
Global Exchange, and San Francisco City and County Commissioner, Ms.
Linda Richardson will be speaking.
There will also be programs at the Downtown Campus from 5 p.m.- 9:30
